Why use it?Because you can get dissertations, many free and available instantly, from over 1,000 North American graduate schools and European universities, including GW.

Step 1
Go to the Gelman Library website and click on ALADIN Research Portal. You will be prompted to login.

Step 2

1. Click on Databases by Title
2. Type in "dissertation"
3. Click "Go"

Step 3
Click on Dissertations & Theses Online. A new window will open, where you can search for dissertations dating as far back as 1861, with full-text PDFs for most recent dissertations!

Step 4
You can order dissertations at a cheaper price through Gelman Library Dissertation Express.
