Find a Book: You Have a Topic

 

Use it for:Finding books on any topic at Gelman or Consortium libraries.

Why use it?Because you can take your research to the next level with our collection.


      Print It!

Step 1
Go to the Gelman Library website and click on the "More search options" link next to the ALADIN Catalog Quick Search.

Step 2
You are now on the Advanced Search screen. Use search terms the catalog can understand. Here is an example.

Step 3
Look at your results and click on a relevant title to see more details, like a table of contents. Can't figure out if the book is available?

Step 4
After you click on the title, look under "Subjects." Subjects are like tags, and they are created by Library of Congress to organize books by main topics. Click on a Subject link to find more titles about that topic.

Your book isn't at Gelman?

You can still request it. If one of the other consortium libraries has it, request it from the catalog. If not, request it through Interlibrary Loan.
