Renewal Policies
All borrowers are eligible to renew items provided:
- Their library accounts are clear of fines and fees in excess of $25.
- Their books do not have outstanding holds or recall requests from other patrons.
Renewal Limits
- For all GW and WRLC (Consortium) Books, Renewal Limit = 3
- Any circulating book from the libraries in the Gelman Library System (or any other library in the WRLC) may be renewed 3 times. Once you reach the renewal limit of 3, you must bring the books in person to the circulation desk of any of the consortium schools - then if you still need the books, we will start the check-out process over for you and you will have 3 additional renewals.
- For Interlibrary Loan Material, Renewal Limit=1
- Most material obtained through Interlibrary Loan (from libraries outside of the WRLC consortium) may be renewed one time online via myALADIN for two weeks - these items will be specifically designated as Interlibrary Loan materials on your online myAladin account. For additional information, please see the Interlibrary Loan page.
