- GW's "aSnap" makes it easy to use your laptop in the library to access Web resources.

- Media Resources
- Contains the audio-visual collection and provides audio and video support for GW.
- Microforms
- Collection of microfilm and microfiche and the equipment for viewing and copying these formats. Part of the Periodicals Room on 3rd floor.

- Reference and Information
- Descriptions of in-person, telephone, e-mail, and Web-based reference services available in Gelman, including how to schedule individual consultations with librarians.
- Reserves
- Information for students on how to find books and articles placed on reserve by your professors. Also provides information for faculty on how to place items on reserve.
- Slavic, East European, and Asian Reading Room (SEEARR)
- Maintains the collection and provides assistance in finding materials from and about these geographic regions.
- Special Collections (Rare Books and Manuscripts)
- Rare and old books, and primary research materials for travel, tourism and event management, Washington D.C. history and politics, and other studies.

- The official repository for the records of The George Washington University. Includes information on GW's history, selected campus publications, articles and chronologies about the University, and descriptions of some of the University Archives' holdings.
