- Described as the Internet's premier source of weather information, this site provides access to thousands of forecasts, images, and the Net's largest collection of weather links. An added feature is WeatherCams that take live pictures of current weather conditions in 700 North American locations.
- National Weather Service
- The U.S. government's site for local, national, and international weather, which includes some historical data. Of particular interest is a listing of all the active weather warnings in effect in the U.S.
- The Farmer's Almanac
- The web version of The Old Farmer's Almanac, a well-known reference book. Among the features are: long-range weather forecasts, dates and locations of solar and lunar eclipses, days of the full moon, and rise and set times of the sun and moon.
- Weather Channel
- From the well-known cable TV Weather Channel. Provides access to current conditions and forecasts for U.S. cities and towns, as well as most other regions of the world. Offers info on airport delays, skiers forecasts, and many weather tidbits and curiosities.
- World Cities Weather--CNN
- Weather forecasts for hundreds of cities around the world.
