CIRLA Students, Faculty, and Staff

Access and Entry Requirements

Students, faculty, and staff at any of the Chesapeake Information and Research Library Alliance (CIRLA) member institutions may enter the library. Guests must present a current valid ID from a CIRLA Institution. Students from University of Maryland-College Park must present a current semester validation card with their ID. See the CIRLA web site for a list of member institutions.

Borrowing Privileges

Graduate students may borrow materials and must have a CIRLA Direct Borrower form, which can be obtained from the circulation desk at your home institution library. See details for CIRLA graduate student borrowing privileges.

Faculty from CIRLA institutions may borrow materials through the OCLC Reciprocal Borrowing Program. You will need a OCLC Reciprocal Faculty Borrowing Program (RFBP) Card from your home institution and a photo ID in order to borrow books.
