- This resource provides full text for about 50 periodicals, and indexing and abstracts for another 140 titles on criminal justice topics, including corrections administration, law enforcement, social work, industrial security, drug rehabilitation, forensic sciences, and criminal and family law.

- A
comprehensive full text general reference
database of the newspapers, magazines and
journals of the ethnic, minority and native press.
Continuously growing since 1991, Ethnic
NewsWatch is now a collection of more than
635,000 full-text articles from almost 200
publications. Searchable in both English and
Spanish, with titles in both languages and more
than 130,000 articles in Spanish, ENW provides
in-depth coverage of a wide range of current and
historical topics easily accessed using free text
and fielded searching. An average of 7,500 new
articles is added each month.
- Forensic Science Abstracts
- Location: ALADIN
- A multi-disciplinary database that covers literature relevant to the examination of evidential materials, analytical methods and the presentation and interpretation of findings. The database coverage includes drugs and toxicology, forensic biology, forensic chemistry, forensic medicine and pathology, documents and firearms examination, arson investigation, image processing, fingerprints, safety, quality and management aspects of running a Forensic Science Service. In addition, the database covers techniques and problems which are also encountered in many analytical laboratories, especially areas of toxicology and body fluid identification.

- This multi-disciplinary database provides full text for nearly 4,600 scholarly publications, including full text for more than 3,500 peer-reviewed journals. Coverage spans virtually every area of academic study and offers information dating as far back as 1975. This database is updated on a daily basis via EBSCOhost
- ProQuest Research Library Plus
- Location: ALADIN
- This multi-subject reference source covering general and academic periodicals; full-text is available for many articles. Also includes Proquest's Computing, Education, Religion, Science, Social Science and Telecommunication Journal modules.
- LEXIS-NEXIS Academic Universe
- Location: ALADIN
- Research areas cover news,industry, and market news; legal news and research; company financial information; general medical topics ; accounting, auditing, and tax information; law reviews; case law; U.S. Code.
- National Criminal Justice Reference Service Database
- Location: ALADIN
- NCJRS provides summaries of
criminal justice literature - government reports,
journal articles, books, and more. The database
was previously available only on CD-ROM and via
DIALOG.
- Sociological Abstracts 1960 - present. Updated bimonthly.
- Location: ALADIN
- The main tool for identifying the international literature in theoretical and applied sociology, social science, and policy science. The database draws information from an international selection of over 1,800 journals and other serial publications, plus conference papers, books, and dissertations. Records added after 1963 contain in-depth and non-evaluative abstracts.
Material from 1952 - 1960 is currently being added.
- PAIS International. 1972- Updated monthly.
- Location: ALADIN
- Bibliographic index covering the full range of political, social, and public policy issues. Topics covered include economic, political, and social issues, business, finance, law, international trade and relations, public administration, government, political science, and any topics that are or might become the subject of legislation. Covers selected journal articles, books, and government documents. Coverage includes documents published worldwide in any of six languages. The subject headings and abstracts are in English.
- PsycINFO 1806 - present. American Psychological Association.
- Location: ALADIN
- Provides indexing and abstracting of the psychological literature (1887present) including psychological journal articles, dissertations, technical reports, books, and chapters within books. Provides the most comprehensive coverage of all areas of psychology, both experimental and applied. PsycINFO is the online equivalent to the print index Psychological Abstracts.
- Social Sciences Index. 1974 - 1998.
