This lists the top 100 federal information technology services prime contractors.

This is a compilation of lists concerning area industries (e.g. "Top 20 General Contractors in the Metro Area"). There is a table of contents in the front and a company index in the back.

Consultants and Consulting Organizations Directory. Annual. Latest edition only retained.
Location: REF HD28. W32 (Next latest edition at the Virginia Campus Library)
Includes consultants in the U.S. and Canada, with abrress, telephone numbers, founding data, branch offices, principal executives, number of staff, and brief description. Geographic, subject, industries served, personal name, and consulting firm name indices. There is also and annual supplement, New Consultants.

This directory is devoted to lobbyists. One section lists lobbyists and whom they represent. The other section lists entities and whom they have hired to lobby for them.

Periodical Indexes

To access databases with a location of "ALADIN", go to ALADIN Research Portal, click on "Databases by Title", and type the title of the database, and click on the link.

Provides full text of newspaper and business magazine articles including the Washington Post from 8/24/88, and the Washington Times from 8/24/88 and the Washington Business Journal from 5/31/2001. Searches can be limited to periodicals and newspapers within the Washington region.

Business and Industry. 1994 - .
Location: ALADIN
Covers trade publications and other business news publications such as newsletters. By typing in the name of the firm in the company line and putting an asterisk at the end, articles on the company will be retrieved, mostly the full text.

Lexis-Nexis Academic Universe.
Location: ALADIN
This provides full text of newspaper and magazine articles including the Washington Post from 1/77 and the Washington Times from 7/4/89.

Ethnic News Watch
Location: ALADIN
Provides full text of U.S. ethnic periodicals. Includes the Washington Informer from 3/15/1979, the Washington Jewish Week from 4/1/2004, and El Pregonero from 12/17/1991.
