Location: THIRD FLOOR MICROFORMS ROOM
A microfiche collection of the "most recent report of each of
the world's Central Banks from the collection in the Joint Bank/Fund
Library, Washington, D.C." To find the call number for the reports
for a particular country, go to the ALADIN
catalog. Use Keyword Search and type "annual reports," and
"central banks," (with quotation marks) and the name of country
(with quotation marks if more than one word).

"International Financial Statistics is a standard source of international
statistics on all aspects of international and domestic finance. It reports,
for most countries of the world, current data needed in the analysis of problems
of international payments and of inflation and deflation., i.e.., data on
exchange rates, international liquidity, international banking, money and
banking, interest rates, prices, production, international transactions, government
accounts, and national accounts." Below are the two print versions. This is
a publication of the International Monetary Fund.

This "regroups the flow accounts and the balance sheet accounts
by institutional sector and by type of financial instrument" for
each OECD member nation.

Covers "private non-financial corporations as defined by the
United System of National Accounts." Data may be based on a sample
or entire sector, depending on the country. It is important to read
the short introduction before making use of the data contained therein.

This United Nations compendium of statistical tables includes some
on finance. Covers most countries in the world.

Covers over 3000 non U.S. corporation (including banks). More than a directory;
it gives financial information, a short history, and the like. It also provides
financial information on countries themselves. Also includes in the marked
center section in volume 1 some statistical information (e.g. money market
rates). The most recent weekly News Report can be found at http://www.mergent.com/publish/news_reports.asp near the bottom of the page.

(see above). In abrition to searching by company name, it is possible,
in advanced search, to retrieve information on companies listed in various

(as opposed to U.S.) companies in general in advanced search.
