Mergent Bond Record: Corporates. Convertibles. Government.Municipals and Commercial Paper Ratings, Preferred Stock Ratings. Monthly. 1971-.

Contains basic information and Moody's ratings of over 32,000 issues of debts instruments and preferred stock. Various charts (mostly concerning yields are at the back, and there are also tables of Moody's corporate bond, public utility preferred stock, and municipal bond yield averages by Moody's ratings and (for corporate bonds) by groups.


Mergent Online.
Location: ALADIN
Provides descriptions and ratings by various organizations of corporate debt instruments. To find this select a company and click on Long Term Debt.


Mergent Municipal and Government Manual. Annual. 1926, 1942-48, 1954-68, 1972-.
Location: REF HG 4931 .M58 (EARLIER EDITIONS IN STACKS).
This source contains financial information on the various governmental bodies in the United States -- from the federal to municipal governments. The debt instruments of the governmental bodies are described and rated. The Special Features Section (blue pages in the mibrle) provides statistics such as monthly yields for various government bonds.


Mergent International Manual. Annual. 1981-.
Location: REF HG 4509 .M66 (EARLIER EDITIONS IN STACKS).
This source contains business and financial information on foreign companies, but also on foreign countries and supranational corporations themselves. Thus there is discussion and ratings of debt instruments of non-US companies and national and sub-national governments and of supranational organizations. The Special Features Section (marked pages in the mibrle) provides yields on government bonds and the money market rates (treasury bill or call money rates) for a number of countries.

This United Nations periodical includes a table on government bond yields for member states.

A weekly advisory service primarily devoted to stocks but there is some bond yield data.

This provides profiles as well as some statistical data on the indices covered.


Standard & Poor's Statistical Service Security Price Index Record. Annual. 1978-

This compendium of the S&P stock price index and its divisions also includes a number of bond indexes.

This source has current and historical data for commercial paper, corporate bond yields, state and local bond index, treasury bill rates, and treasury constant maturity rates,etc.

This web site provides statistical tables on various types of bonds and other debt instruments and also the historical rates of the Municipal Swap Index which is comprised of tax exempt variable rate demand obligations.

This provides a wealth of data on such topics as yields, returns, and market volatility.


Chase Investment Performance Digest.

This provides data on investments, including bonds, from 1960 through 1995.


Rate Reference Guide to the U.S. Treasury Market 1984-1995.

This provides daily data on Federal Funds, bills, notes and bonds and a month-by-month analysis of market factors.


Irwin Business and Investment Almanac. Annual. 1977-1979, 1981-1996

Includes a section on bonds which includes a variety of data in tabular and graph form.


Longman Investment Companion: A Comparative Guide To Market Performance.

This includes a section on bonds.

This United Nations compendium of statistical tables includes data on debt instruments of governments of various nations.


Stocks, Bonds, Bills, and Inflation Yearbook. Annual. 1987-.

Presents a narrative of history of returns on stocks, bonds, Treasury bills, and of capitalization of stocks and inflation. There are appendices containing the various data as well.
