GW to Host Global Forum in Hong Kong on Key Economic and Security Issues Between U.S. and Asia, Nov. 14

EVENT: 

The George Washington University will host its first-ever Global Forum, “The United States and Asia in a Time of Change,” Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009 in Hong Kong. The University will bring together leading GW faculty, acclaimed alumni and noted experts from Asia to exchange insights into current and foreign political, economic, business, security and foreign policy issues. Panel discussions will feature global experts who will explore the most pressing economic and security challenges facing Asia and the United States. FedEx is sponsoring the event. Official media partners of the forum are TIME and Bloomberg, and supporting organizations include the American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and the Asia Society. A complete schedule is online

 The keynote speaker for the forum is Ambassador Susan C. Schwab (GWSB Ph.D. '93), American educator and former U.S. Trade Representative. Other speakers include:
