Dr. Clyde Croswell
Dr. Croswell is a Professor with the Human and Organizational Learning Program.
His area of interest and research are living systems as complex
adaptive systems, dialogic leadership, and collective systems
thinking. Prior to joining the HOL program team, Dr. Croswell
served 28 years in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he was the Administrator
of the U.S. Marine Bands. He is also a practitioner, and as President
of Community-L, Inc., he provides human resource and organization
development services to government, private, and nonprofit organizations.
His services focus on organizational learning and transformational
leadership, as he integrates current organization development
theory with his practice. His consulting clients have included
American Woodmark Corporation, Association of School Superintendents,
independent Sector, OakCrest Builders, Inc., U.S. Army Corp of
Engineers, and the Virginia Bankers.
