Dr. Andrea J. Casey Dr. Casey's
teaching and research interests include organizational cognition
including collective memory, organizational learning, and organizational
identity. She is an active member of the Academy of Management
and has served as Program Chair for the Managerial and Organizational
Cognition Division of AOM as well as a member of the Board of
Governors. She has reviewed papers and proposals for such organizations
as AOM, the Eastern Academy of Management, the Academy of Human
Resource Development, and the Organizational Learning, Knowledge
and Capabilities International Conference. She has served on the
Editorial Board for the Journal of Management and is currently
on the Editorial Board for Management Learning and Management
History. In addition she has reviewed manuscripts for journals
such as Organization Science, Management Learning, Academy of
HRD Review, Organization Studies, and Human Relations. Dr. Casey
has more than 15 years experience as an external HRD consultant
to state government and private non-profit organizations throughout
the country. In her HRD work, she is primarily involved in organizational
change initiatives, leadership development, and strategic planning.
