Students enjoy a wide range of services central to maximizing and facilitating their quality of living and learning on campus. Whether it's attending Colonial Inauguration, registering for classes, finding
housing, making a payment, applying for financial aid, picking up a package, using your GWorld Card, or taking advantage of any other business or financial service, GW strives make each transaction seamless and convenient.
GW's Friends & Neighbors are invited to experience the quality business and event services of the Cafritz Conference Center, conveniently located in the Marvin Center, and the University Club and River Horse Bistro. Parking Services offers students, staff, and visitor parking at a variety of locations on the Foggy Bottom and Mount Vernon campuses.
GW Faculty and Staff receive administrative, financial, and operational support from departments across campus:
- Information Systems & Services provides Help Desk support, telecommunications services, enterprise-wide administrative applications, and network services.
- Supply Chain provides centralized procurement of goods and services, maintains relationships with preferred vendors, disburses payment to vendors for goods and services provided, administers the procurement card
program, and processes all travel and personal reimbursement requests.
- Grants and Contracts Accounting Services handles fiscal policies, billing of sponsors, and submission of financial reports to sponsors.
- The Budget Office develops and administers the annual operating and capital budgets.
- Facilities Management operates and maintains GW facilities and provides support for minor moves on campus and minor alterations to space while Architecture, Engineering and Construction is responsible for major renovations.
- Human Resource Services provides benefits services, online job postings, and employee relations assistance.
- The GWorld Card Office provides the one card that is the passport for identification, access to GW facilities, and carrying Debit Dollars to use like cash at all GWorld venues.
- GW Mail Services provides mail service to the University and Medical Center communities.
- Risk Management assists with environmental, health, and safety issues.
- The Compliance Program encourages and promotes an environment of ethical business and professional behavior.
