Multicultural Student Service Center
A cornerstone of GW student life is the Multicultural Student Services Center (MSSC). MSSC is GW's center for cross-cultural communication, community building and leadership. It provides all undergraduates with an array of ethnic and cultural opportunities. Latino Heritage Month and Pan-Asian Heritage Month join Persian New Year celebrations and the Bangra Blowout as among the many diversity activities organized or supported by the University.
Disability Support Services
The George Washington University believes in the equality of people, the value of individual differences and the boundless potential of the human spirit. To ensure full participation by everyone in the GW community, the University established Disability Support Services (DSS) in 1978. DSS assists students with disabilities to participate fully in university life so they may derive the greatest benefit from their educational experiences and attain maximum personal success.
LGBT Resource Center
The George Washington University Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Resource Center provides a comprehensive range of education, support and advocacy services to create and maintain an open, safe and inclusive campus environment. The LGBT Resource Center welcomes a diversity of racial, ethnic, religious, political and cultural values and is committed to enhancing acceptance and quality of life for the entire GW community.
