CSL Executive Education Seminars
CSL provides not only workshops and training, but also Executive
Education seminars for Professional Development in the areas of
Leadership, Culture, Action Learning and Organizational Change.
Korean Global Leadership Seminar
The Center for the Study of Learning (CSL) recently hosted a
group of Chief Learning Officers from Korea for a Global Leadership
Seminar. Dr. Clyde Croswell and Dr. David Szabla facilitated several
interactive sessions to discuss personal leadership styles and
assist in the development of competency models for the participants’
organizations. Dr. Liliana Meneses served as the CSL liaison to
partner with KRIVET (Korean Research Institute for Vocational
Education and Training).
Graduate Certificate in Leadership Development
The Executive
Leadership Doctoral Program is offering a six-course graduate
certificate in leadership development that is designed to increase
the learning, leadership and change capacity of individuals and
organizations with global emphasis in Human Resource Development.
The program is focused on developing global competencies and
assisting individuals and organizations to expand awareness of
their societies, cultures and environments that impact the workplace.
Theory, research and practice are balanced throughout the program
in order to enable students to develop and implement strategies
that increase organizational development and learning.
The proposed certificate distinguishes itself by offering a global
and international perspective throughout every course. The program
allows you either to pursue a certificate or to take courses as
electives. The program begins and ends at the Virginia Campus
with classes alternating at affiliate sites in Asia, Europe and

Executive Leadership Doctoral Program
The Executive
Leadership Doctoral Program (ELP) in Human and Organizational
Learning (HOL) was created to help meet the complex learning challenges
facing organizational leaders as they enter the 21st century.
The program focuses on the interrelationships among people, organizations,
and learning while utilizing systemic change processes. Students
gain a greater understanding of their own leadership skills and
strategic vision necessary to guide their organizations through
