Information Session and Campus Tours
Led by an admissions officer and a current student, our hour-long information session introduces you to a variety of campus offerings, both academic and extracurricular, and acquaints you with the admissions and financial aid processes. The Foggy Bottom Campus tour immediately follows the information session. Visitors may complete their visit with our Mount Vernon Campus tour and a lunch with a current student. Foggy Bottom Campus Tours
Walk through our historic Foggy Bottom Campus neighborhood with a current GW student. Tours last approximately one hour.
Mount Vernon Campus Tours
Tours last approximately 30 minutes and are led by a student tour guide. The Vern Express, a shuttle bus, provides easy access to the Mount Vernon Campus from Foggy Bottom Campus. The Vern Express will return you to Foggy Bottom.
Lunch with a Student
This opportunity provides an intimate conversation over lunch with one of our current students at an on-campus dining venue. (Available for the prospective student only.)
Engineering and Applied Science Tours
Tours of Tompkins Hall, home of the School of Engineering and Applied Science, are available Mondays and Fridays at 12:15 p.m. and 1 p.m. This brief tour explores the classroom and laboratory facilities available to GW’s engineering and applied science students. The tour begins in Tompkins Hall, Room 104. No reservations are required.
School of Business Tours
Meet current GW business students while touring the state-of-the-art Ric and Dawn Duques and Norma Lee and Morton Funger Halls, home of the School of Business. Tours are available Mondays and Fridays at 12:15 p.m. and 1 p.m. The tour explores the classrooms and facilities available to GW's business students, including the Capital Markets Room, the Behavioral Lab, and the School of Business Career Center. The tour begins at the 22nd Street entrance to the Duques Hall Lobby. No reservations are required.

- Attend a class matched to your academic interests.
Interviews
An interview is not required for admissions; however, if you are an applicant and elect to participate in an interview, it will be considered in the admissions process. We offer a variety of interview options, both on and off campus, including interview weekends in major locations throughout the country, interviews with local alumni and on-campus interviews. Further information and registration is available through the GW Admissions Activity Center.
Group Visits
If you have a group of more than 15 participants and would like to make arrangements to visit campus, please email grpvisit@gwu.edu. Requests must be received at least 30 days prior to the date of your visit.
