Visit GW
The George Washington University has been welcoming families to our campus for nearly 190 years and at no other time in our history is a campus visit as significant a factor in selecting a university as it is today. Life at GW is rich with opportunities in the classroom, on campus and in the city, and we want to share this extraordinary richness with you.
When you arrive at GW, you will find our two undergraduate campuses—Foggy Bottom and Mount Vernon—easily accessible. Located within a few miles of each other, our campuses are in two of the most historic and interesting areas of our city. We encourage you to make the most of your visit by participating fully in our visit options and in taking the time to walk around our campus neighborhoods.
