Program Adjustments
Please be advised that individual program adjustments may incur tuition charges and/or fees if they are not even exchanges, or involve courses other than those at the Foggy Bottom or Mount Vernon campuses. See Withdrawals and Refunds for the refund schedule.
- During the first week of classes: students who wish to add a course(s) and drop a course(s) as an even exchange may do so without financial loss if these transaction requests are made during the same calendar week for an equal number of credit hours. Adjustments can be done on GWeb excluding Functions not Available on GWeb.
- After the second week of classes: students who wish to make registration changes must do so via Paper Registration. Any courses added must have the permission of the instructor or the department. Courses may be dropped without permission of the instructor or the department.
- After the fourth week of classes: students who wish to make registration changes must do so via Paper Registration. Any courses added must have the permission of the instructor or the department. Dropping courses is considered a withdrawal and a 'W' will appear on the transcript; Director's approval is required (must use RTF Standard)
- After the eighth week of classes: Withdrawal requires a petition to the Director's office.
