Guidelines for Consortium Students
Students who are enrolled at member institutions of the Washington Metropolitan Area Consortium of Universities may register for courses at GW on a space-available basis. Students should register through the Consortium Coordinator at their institutions.
The GW Course Schedule indicates courses that are not open to visiting consortium students. Enrollment in Independent Study, Study Abroad, Canon Law, Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, Physical Education, and Vocational Theology courses is prohibited.
Visiting consortium students should check with their Consortium Coordinator for any further restrictions on enrollment. Consortium registration is not guaranteed – courses may be closed or subject to department approval.
