CAROLINA MAYORGA EXHIBIT: MIGRATION AND LATINO CULTURE

Please join us in welcoming an exhibition by artist Carolina Maryorga throughout the month of March. Mayorga, whose work reflects her native Colombian heritage and addresses issues of migration facing Latino culture, will create two sets of drawings for this installment. The first will be created on a 20-foot long paper scroll spanning the gallery, and will feature beautifully sketched insects symbolizing the migrant and her journey to a new home.

The second series will be entitled Connect the Dots. There will be a reception on March 29 in honor of Mayorga, at which attendees will help the artist complete the drawings by connecting the dots.

Tuesday, March 29
