Through collaborative
work between the Columbian College and the British Embassy, The George
Washington University has become a partner in the UK’s efforts to
promote global science. The third in a series of lectures on the mysteries
of the universe and the human mind will be held on March 17. Steven Rose
will try to answer the question, Can the Brain Explain the Mind?

Steven Rose
is one of the UK’s most prominent brain scientists. He is a neurologist
and professor of biology at the Open University, as well as the author
of the new book, The Future of the Brain. Admission to the lecture
is free.
