A
MESSAGE FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF ALUMNI PROGRAMS
|
Greetings
fellow alumni—
Colonials Weekend is just two weeks away! We have had a strong response
to the weekend, and to encourage as many people as possible to attend,
we have decided to make the weekend a FREE EVENT. We hope that those of
you who live in the area will stop by for a reception, a lecture, a performance.
I highly recommend that you visit Colonials Village, on Kogan Plaza, a
street-fair inspired celebration for the University community on Saturday
afternoon.
Colonials
Weekend brings together both Parents Weekend and Alumni Weekend as one
festive, University-wide event. The reason is simple: the University is
a large community that includes alumni, students, parents, and friends,
and we want a celebration that encompasses everyone. The celebration is
the perfect opportunity for the entire community to come together.
Take the
time to read GW alumnus Jeremy Gosbee on Colonials Weekend, below, then
scroll down to Alumni News for details and directions on how to register.
Please do take the time to register, so we know how many people to expect.
See you at Colonials Weekend! The entire University is looking forward
to it.
Sincerely,

Scott M. Mory, BA ’96, JD ’99
