Have you visited the GW Alumni Online Community lately? If not, now is the time - it has been redesigned and expanded with new features. The GW Alumni Association and the Office of Alumni Programs are proud to share this exciting new web resource with you, and invite you to create your membership in the Online Community today! The newly redesigned GW Alumni Online Community has consolidated all alumni information - it is your one stop for all alumni programs, benefits, and services information. Some of the best (and most fun) features of the new Online Community are the expanded directory with class notes and the message boards.

The directory allows you to personalize your entry with activities and individual information and the message boards facilitate chats with other GW alumni. This can be a useful networking tool.

Another exciting feature is the Career Advisor Network. Through the Network, you can volunteer to share your professional experiences with other alumni and with current students. You can also search for a career advisor to help with your personal professional development. This is a great tool, and I hope that you will check it out!

If you are already a member of the former Online Community, there is a very simple process to transfer your current login information to the new GW Alumni Online Community:

• Visit https://gweb.gwu.edu/alumni/existing.cfm.
  
• Provide your current Alumni Online Community username and password through a brief online form.
  
• You're done!

If you would like to become a member of the new GW Alumni Online Community, simply follow these steps:

• Visit https://gweb.gwu.edu/mod/alumni/register.cfm.
  
• Fill out the form to create a username and password.
  
• Begin enjoying the benefits of the GW Alumni Online Community!
  

It's that simple. And don't worry your GW Alumni Online Community profile and permanent e-mail forwarding address (if you have one) are NOT affected by the enhancements we've made.

If you do not remember your current GW Alumni Online Community username and/or password, you may complete the registration form, located at https://gweb.gwu.edu/mod/alumni/register.cfm.

Many alumni have already registered and have begun enjoying the benefits of the GW Alumni Online Community; however, some have experienced difficulty with registration. If you experience any problem registering, please send an e-mail to alumolc@gwu.edu and we will work to resolve your question as quickly as possible.

I think you will really enjoy the new services offered by the GW Alumni Online Community. Login, test out the features, and let us know what you think.
