The GW Executive MBA Alumni Association (EMBAAA), in partnership with the GW School of Business Alumni Association, is once again hosting the very popular "Gives & Gets" networking event. Space is limited to 70 and the event will sell out, so RSVP promptly. This networking event guarantees everyone in attendance will know you and will hear your message. Job seekers will be able to distribute resumes.

Cost: $30 for Executive MBA Alumni Association dues paying members, $45 for all others. $5 discount if paid in advance (cash or checks only).

The open bar cocktail reception will be held from 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. and the event will be from 7:00 p.m.- 8:45 p.m. Door prize drawings will be held at 8:45 p.m.

The Gives & Gets format is very simple, yet extremely effective. All attendees communicate to the group in less than one minute what they are willing to "Give" and what they hope to "Get." The "Give" and the "Get" can be business-related or personal. Anyone able to satisfy someone's "Get" puts his or her business card into the door prize drawing contest held at the end of the evening. So bring a lot of a business cards and your reservoir of connections. The more "Gets" you are able to satisfy, the more chances you have of winning a prize.
