Greetings
fellow alumni!
One of the most common questions I have heard from alumni is about how
to get involved in the University. We could not run all of our programs
without the support and involvement of alumni volunteers. This month's
Colonial Cable has information on several different ways you can get involved,
and we invite you to do just that.
The George Washington Alumni Association is seeking applications for a
variety of positions available next year. The GWAA is an independent association
representing all alumni and works with the Office of Alumni Programs to
develop alumni events and services. The positions that are available include
executive officers and the vice presidents responsible for each of the
GWAA's committees.
In May we will be hosting organizational meetings for the Los Angeles
and San Francisco regional alumni chapters. We have also recently hosted
organizational meetings in Philadelphia and Atlanta, and we're still looking
for volunteers. Volunteering for a regional alumni chapter is a great
way to get involved and stay connected with GW from outside the Washington,
D.C., region. Information on each of these programs appears in this newsletter.
Of course, the easiest way to get involved is to attend one of our events,
and if you scroll down, you'll see that there's a lot to choose from.
We look forward to meeting you soon.
Warmest regards,
Sincerely,

Scott M. Mory
