Grades on GWeb

Grades are available for viewing on GWeb and will not be mailed.  When viewing your grades, you can also see other items in your student record, including your:

  • Holds
  • Personal Information
  • Student Account Information
  • Unofficial Transcript

To access your records, visit the myGW portal, and select the gweb information system link.  On the User Login page, enter your User ID and PIN.

If you have forgotten your PIN, click on one of the following:

  • “Forgot PIN?”:  if you have previously set up a security question, enter the answer and follow the instructions to reset your PIN.

  • “Don’t Know Your PIN?”: follow the given instructions.

Once you have logged in to GWeb, the Main Menu will appear.  To view your grades:
  1. Click on Student Records and Registration
  2. Click on Student Records Information Menu  
  3. Choose Display Grades
  4. Select a Term, then click the "Display Grades" button 
All grades that have been submitted and processed will be displayed for the selected term.

Note:  University policy states that faculty have five working days to submit grades after the final examination. Because of the heavy volume of grades submitted to the Office of the Registrar, final grades will be processed as expeditiously as possible. Once a course grade roster is processed, the system will display grades on GWeb the next business day. Please do not contact the Office of the Registrar if there are any missing grades. Should you have any question regarding your final grade, please contact your instructor.

Unofficial Transcripts on GWeb

You may view and print your unofficial transcript online via GWeb. To view your unofficial transcript:
  1. Login to GWeb
  2. From the Main Menu, click on Student Records and Registration
  3. Click on Student Records Information Menu
  4. Choose Transcripts
  5. Click View Unofficial Transcript
  6. Select Transcript Level and Transcript Types, then click the "Display Transcript" button
Unofficial transcripts may also be requested in person at the Office of the Registrar by presenting your GWorld card. The first copy (per day) is free of charge. There is a $1.00 fee for each additional copy (see Pricing - Unofficial Transcripts). Unofficial copies sent by mail are subject to the same fees as official transcripts (see Pricing - Official Transcripts).
