Non-degree students are advised to be certain of their registration load prior to the start of the semester to avoid losing any tuition or fees. Your course load, work load and family situation should also be considered prior to registration. An approved method of payment should also be in place prior to making a contractual commitment of registration.

A student is NOT penalized financially for credit reduction to his registration prior to the start of the semester. Credit reduction due to unforeseen and uncontrollable circumstances should be petitioned and appealed to the proper administrative office. Main campus students should contact the Office of University Students, and off campus students should contact Jack Chatman, Manager of Student Services at (202) 496-6293 or jchatman@gwu.edu.
