Panel Discussion on Women and Globalization

A Panel Discussion on Women and Globalization was held on Tuesday April 2. The panel of scholars and activists discussed questions such as: why a gender analysis is critical to our understanding of globalization, how structural adjustment policies impact women, and how faculty are incorporating issues of gender and global inequality into teaching and research. GW Women's Studies Director Diane Bell and Women's Studies Professor Cynthia Deitch participated in the panel.
