Mary Buckley is Associate Professor of Dance and Program Director for
the International Arts & Culture Women's Leadership Program on the
Mount Vernon Campus of GWU. Mary has performed in Washington, New York,
California and throughout England.
As a Washington based dancer, she performed the work of many DC choreographers,
among them Deborah Riley, Liz Lerman, Meriam Rosen,Virginia Freeman,
Jan Van Dyke, Sharon Wyrrick and, most recently, with fellow faculty
member Joseph Mills. Previously she was a member of a British based
dance company directed by Virginia Taylor.
Currently she directs an Interdisciplinary Arts Seminar and teaches
Dance History and Movement Awareness in the dance program.
