Bill Largess

Bill Largess has been an actor and director in the Washington theatre
community for over 30 years. A graduate of Catholic University, he is
a founding member of The Washington Stage Guild, and was named the company's
Artistic Director in 2008. His work there has received two Helen Hayes
Award nominations, two Mary Goldwater Awards, and two Individual Artist
Fellowships from the DC Commission on The Arts and Humanities. He has
also worked for nearly every theatre in the DC area, as well as The
Manhattan Theatre Club, The LaJolla Playhouse, and The Provincetown
Playhouse. Bill is a faculty member of GWU's Department of Theatre and
Dance (for whom he previously directed Blithe Spirit, One Flea Spare,
and Learning Curves), and is the former co-chair of the Washington-Baltimore
Liaison Committee of Actors' Equity Association. |
