Kirk Kristlibas has been working as a multimedia and graphic designer
professionally since graduating from the Art Institute of Portland in
2004. He began as a freelance graphic artist, web designer and video
editor while still in school with his own company,
Avalonik Society Media, and later as a team member of Exprima Media,
a company dedicated to interaction design and graphic arts in educational
media, founded by former anthropology professor, Corey Pressman.
Kirk has been living in Washington, DC, since 2008 where he is currently
Promotional Coordinator of the Theatre & Dance Department at the
George Washington University. Successes for the department include the
initiation of community partnerships with local businesses and patrons;
advertising campaigns; program advertising and fundraising; incorporating
new media (blog, FaceBook, Twitter); online promotional videos, and
department re-branding.
He also continues to do freelance work for a variety of clients including
Northwest Neurofeedback, Design Concept Presentations, LLC (DCP), DTSB&Co,
and others.
Kirk’s design experience includes, but is not limited to, web and print
graphics, book jacket design, brochure design, theater program design,
marketing logos, branding, user interface/ web design and video editing.
