We're delighted to announce the Sociology Alumni Association (SAA) was formed in 2007!

The SAA serves alumni from all three undergraduate majors (human services, criminal justice, and sociology) as well as the graduate programs.
Our objectives and goals include to:
- Allow the department to keep up-to-date with alumni successes
- Connect alumni and current students for mutually beneficial internships and jobs
- Help alumni get better jobs and into better graduate or professional schools
- Enable current and former students to be aware of alum and student accomplishments
- Bring alumni back into the classroom to share their professional experiences
- Enable alumni to help us further strengthen our dynamic and high achieving department by supporting current faculty and students, whether with money, time, or advice
- Establish alumni-defined awards for students and faculty

CAREERS, COOKIES & CONNECTIONS (WINE TOO!)
Thursday, March 6, 7:00-8:30. Please join the Sociology Alumni Association (SAA) as alumni from the Criminal Justice, Human Services, and Sociology fields discuss jobs, careers, and choices post graduation. A networking reception for alumni and 2008 graduates to follow.

Floor speakers will include alum from the World Bank, various graduate school and law programs, and numerous businesses, government agencies and nonprofits, all eager to offer their experience and connections.
