As part of an ongoing effort to ensure that GW residents are aware of the personal
property insurance program, the University has developed a comprehensive communication
plan designed to reach both student residents and parents. The plan has included
numerous publications and messages in both electronic and hard copy form.
Publications:
- “Protect Your Personal Property” flyer (download)
- Distributed at Colonial Inauguration (CI)
- Distributed at Key Depot Locations and HUB sites at check-in
- Poster boards at Key Depot Locations
- Posters on GW Housing Programs boards in all residence halls
- Distributed during Fall Move-In
- Reminder included on the "Move-In" checklist distributed
during CI
Information Sharing Methods:
- Included in day two CI “Move-In” information sessions presented
by GW Housing Programs and Residential Property Management staff
- Staffed table at CI “Services Fair”
- Communication posted on the Parent Services listserve
- Blast e-mail to the appropriate portion of the University Community
