NIH Announces New Executive Level II Salary Cap FY 2024
Effective January 1, 2024, the salary cap for Executive Level II is now $221,900 and should be included in proposal budgets for applicable federal agencies.
The Office of Sponsored Projects (OSP) within the Office of the Vice Provost for Research (OVPR) supports the university’s research mission by providing oversight of externally-sponsored research. OSP assists researchers with identifying appropriate funding opportunities, submitting competitive proposals and managing successful projects.
Each sponsored project follows a similar course from initial concept and development of a competitive proposal, to negotiating and setting-up the award in GW systems, through management of the award and submitting final reports to the sponsor.
The OSP team works closely with investigators, research administration pods, school-based research staff and administrators across campus to ensure success and compliance throughout all phases of a sponsored project.
