Welcome to the Office of the Registrar

Beginning Monday, July 14, Office of the Registrar transactions are conducted in Colonial Central, located on the Ground Floor of the
Marvin Center at 800 21st Street NW.

Services at Colonial Central include: transcript orders,
certification requests, and name/SSN changes.

General registration for Fall 2008 will run until Sunday, August 31. Non-degree registration begins on Monday, August 4. Click here for the full registration schedule. The GWeb registration system is available seven days a week (not including university holidays) from 7:00 am - 8:00 pm.

Students and alumni who attended from Fall 1982-present have the option of ordering transcripts with or without their social security number printed on them. This option is available through Transcripts Express in GWeb, on our paper forms, and in-person in Rice Hall.

Individuals who wish to take a course on the main campus of GW without entering a degree program may apply online for non-degree admission through the Office of University Students.

Did you know that most Office of the Registrar transactions can be completed at either Foggy Bottom or Mount Vernon, including:

Transcripts
Certifications (Law & Medical certifications may only be requested at Foggy Bottom)
Diploma Replacement
