FOIA Requests - 3 Bruce Owen Strickland requesting any information specifically relevant to him. No further details Dr. Anthony W. Laine requesting an extensive list of information to support a book he is writing The National Security News Service has made a very broad FOIA request. Inquiries - 4 Carl Weitz -- a veteran who was exposed to ionizing radiation. Does not request information. Leon E. Cooper -- complaining of a radioactive cloud of barium release over Alabama in 1961-62 by NASA. Caller to JSC claims to have been injected with radio iodinated serum albumin (RISA) and now has leukemia. Dr. Robbins' team at JSC is investigating. Gary Litton -- Mr. Litton's father was treated by ORINS. In a letter to Senator Glenn, Mr. Litton twice expressed concern that NASA was using his father records. Mr. Litton implied that NASA may have influenced the course of his father's treatment with negative results. Helpline Activity -- 6 As of April 14, the DOE helpline had referred a total of six calls to NASA. We are currently unable to receive the contact reports in electronic format, but we have received hard copy print outs. The print outs in our possession contain major information gaps, and Dr. Ferguson is currently establishing a procedure for contacting the callers for more information.
