GW In and Of DC Book   The George Washington University In and Of The District of Columbia: Explores the University's roots in the Federal City. [Read]



Guide to The George Washington University: First published in April 1999, the Guide to GW is a bi-annual,140-page guidebook featuring facts and figures about GW, including a brief history and information about faculty, students, alumni, athletics, schools, and other parts of the GW community. A fold-out campus map is at the beginning of the book. [Read]  




  Community Commitments: First published in Spring 1998, Community Commitments is a bi-annual publication detailing GW's community service efforts. The book includes the volunteer-service of GW's administrative and academic departments, as well as that of its students, faculty, and staff members. Community Commitments also contains information about the University's direct and indirect financial contributions to the Washington-area community. [Read]



Commencement Programs: Every spring, University Relations produces Commencement Programs for GW's Commencement on the Ellipse and for the Law School's Commencement. In addition to lists of degree candidates, the programs also contain photos and brief biographies of the honorary degree recipients.  



 

Critical Issues in Higher Education: Selected commentaries by Stephen Joel Trachtenberg: Each year, University Relations publishes a volume of selected speeches and published texts by University President Stephen Joel Trachtenberg.

Common Ground: Produced in conjunction with GW's celebration of its 90th year in the Foggy Bottom community, Common Ground shows the University's commitment to the neighborhood.This publication contains historical pictures and stories about the shared interests between GW and Foggy Bottom. President's Report: This annual publication contains a theme-based essay by University President Stephen Joel Trachtenberg. Past themes include: The Campus as a Work of Art, A Historic Decade: GW from 1988-1998, The George Washington University and Its Sense of Place, and GW's Vibrant International Face. Each publication also includes a report on philanthropy, and a listing of faculty publications. The 2000 President's Report is available as a PDF file.

University Map: Each year, University Relations works with GW's architecture office to update the campus map.
