GW To Take Groundbreaking Step Toward More Student Housing

GW will hold a groundbreaking ceremony August 8 at 10 a.m. for the new townhouse row and residence hall planned for 23rd Street. The townhouse complex, pictured at the top, will stand adjacent to the Smith Center. These eight attached units will provide 24-30 beds per unit, with living, dining and kitchen space included. The residence hall will provide 710 beds with four food venues, including a market. The space also will contain six music rehearsal rooms, plus a large seating area for performances.
