Thanks to record applications, the University has developed a more selective approach to admissions. For the Fall 2002 semester, the GW received a record of approximately 16,900 applications and will admit 39–41 percent of those students. Last year, GW admitted 48.5 percent of the 15,960 applicants, with 2,578 students choosing to enroll for Fall 2001 (33.3 percent yield). Read
