Just 25 years ago, Mark Warner, BA ’77, stood out at GW for getting good Hill jobs and good grades. Now, with self-made wealth and solid entrepreneurial zeal, he’s Virginia’s newly elected governor. Warner came to be Virginia’s governor by a path that was purposely political, including the decade he spent becoming a high-tech venture capitalist.
