CAMPUS RADIO ENTERS MILLENIUM WITH STATE OF THE ART STUDIOS
WRGW Celebrates Grand Opening of New Studios with Series of Live Performances

WASHINGTON -- The George Washington University's student run radio station, WRGW, is celebrating the grand opening of its new 803-square foot state of the art facility. Located in GW's Marvin Center, the new studios are entirely digital and allow students to generate professional sounding production spots, talk shows and music programs.

WRGW can be found on the radio dial at 540-AM and the audio signal is now also available on the Internet at www.gwradio.com. The station is streaming its signal live in Quicktime 4.0. Anyone from around the world can tune into the station's programming, which includes every men's and women's Colonials basketball game. Sports programming will include live coverage of the men's team from the Alaskan Shootout in November.

To celebrate the grand opening and to showcase the versatility of the studios, WRGW is hosting an "Octoberfest."
