Colonial Math Challenge(A math competition for high school students)To be held on |

Colonial Math Challenge is a mathematics competition open to high school students from the mid-Atlantic region. Ten winners will each receive $80,000 scholarships ($20,000 per year for up to 4 years) for undergraduate education at The George Washington University. While we would like the winners to become mathematics majors, they may choose to major in any area of mathematical sciences, physical sciences or engineering at GWU.
Colonial Math Challenge is open to high school students from the District of Columbia as well as students enrolled in high schools in the neighboring states of the mid-Atlantic region: Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware, North Carolina, Southern New Jersey and West Virginia. There is a registration fee of $10 per student and the registration is limited to 250 students. For further information please click here .

The Colonial Math Challenge at The George Washington University is open to high school students
from the mid-Atlantic region. You may register if you are currently a student enrolled in any high school
in D.C. or the neighboring states of the mid-Atlantic
region: Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware, North Carolina, Southern New Jersey and West Virginia.
The CMC 2008 will be held on our downtown Foggy Bottom campus on Friday, November 7, 2008.
The winners of the prizes and scholarships will be announced at the award ceremony on the same day.
All contestants will receive Certificates of Participation in Colonial Math Challenge 2008. |
