HMM 2003 - May 28-30th, 2003 - Salamanca, Spain

The Fourth International Symposium on Hysteresis and Micromagnetics Modeling - HMM 2003 will take place on the University of Salamanca, Spain.

This Symposium will address recent theories, measurements, and other developments in hysteresis. The primary focus will be on magnetics, either from a macroscopic or microscopic point of view. This Symposium will provide a special occasion for engineers, mathematicians and physicists to present and exchange ideas, methods and results.

Author Instructions

The proceedings of the HMM'01 symposium will be published as a special issue of the Journal Physica B - Condensed Matter published by Elsevier Science. The proceeding is expected to be published prior to December 31, 2001. All authors must follow these instructions when preparing their manuscripts:

  • Page Limit: All invited papers are limited to 8 double columns pages. All contributed papers are limited to 4 double column pages. Any author who wishes to exceed this limit must receive the approval of the symposium editorial board.
  • Language: The manuscripts will be written in English, clear of grammatical errors.
  • Instructions: Follow the detailed instructions in the document below: "How to prepare a manuscript for Elsevier Proceedings." As a final check, please make sure that you follow the "checklist" given in the Elsevier instructions.
  • Length Calculation: Please use the document below "Length Calculation Form" to make sure that your manuscript is within the page limit.
  • Due Date: All manuscripts are due at the Symposium, May 21-23, 2001.
  • Avoid Delays: Any deviation from these instructions may result in the delay of the publication of the manuscript.
  • Questions: If you have any questions, please contact: hmm01@va.gwu.edu.
