Welcome to the Higher Education Student Association at the George Washington University!

As part of the George Washington University and the Graduate School of Education and Human Development (GSEHD), the Higher Education Student Association (HESA) is committed to a pursuit of excellence for all students interested in the field of higher education administration (HEA). Established in 1976, the HESA was created to foster a sense of community among HEA students, alumni, and faculty; to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas on current issues in higher education; and to provide opportunities for professional and personal development.
