Dr. Ranbir Kang
Visiting Professor of Geography

Dr. Kang joined the Department of Geography at George Washington University in Fall 2007. His research areas include fluvial geomorphology, GIScience, watershed modeling and management, urban dimensions of geomorphic processes, and human environment interaction. Dr. Kang completed his Ph.D. in geography from Oklahoma State University.

 He plans to pursue his future research in understanding the stream channel response to changing degrees of urbanization and changing land covertypes in different ecoregions
