Spring CD Release Extravaganza -- May 4th, 2006
Emocapella celebrated the release of its second CD "Is it in yet" in the only true emo way, by singing to a packed crowd in the Betts Theatre.

Emocapella Spring Tour 2006 -- April 6th-9th, 2006
April 6th: Rocked out at UVA with the Virginia Bells, April 7th: Chilled at UNC with Cadence, April 8th: Sang with Deja Blue over at Duke.

Battle of the Acapella Groups -- March 24th, 2006
Emocapella showed its true emo colors in the 4th annual Battle of the Acapella Groups. The set was complete with a costume change, cross dressing, and of course, much innappropriateness. We proudly won best original arrangement for "Song for the Dumped" and most spirited, for being, well, emocapella.

3rd Annual Anti-Valentines Day Show -- February 10th, 2006
We sang in music protest to the Hallmark creation that is Valentines day. It was emo.

Big Fall Show -- December 10th, 2005
A sold out crowd packed the Mitchel Theatre. Special guest appearance by the Pitches.

Big Spring Show -- May 5th, 2005
Farewell to seniors in the MC Grand Ballroom.

Alternative Spring Break Show -- February 13, 2005
Sang a couple songs for an a cappella-overloaded audience in the Marvin Center.

Second Ever Anti-Valentine's Day Show -- February 12, 2005
Free show in the Continental Ballroom attracted a decent crowd which enjoyed the Pitches and Jake Young's stand-up as well as our set.

Big Fall Show -- December 10, 2004
Emocapella: The New Class's first show was rockin'. We showed a video and the audience was crammed into Mitchell.

Founders' Final Guerillacapella Show -- April 24, 2004
The last guerillacapella with the originals was by far the most well-attended (granted, it wasn't entirely "guerilla" since we advertised it in our AIM profiles). We sang, they clapped, everyone partied at Neil's, and then the seniors cried, screamed, and drank their way into the sunset.

Battle of the A Cappella Groups -- April 16, 2004
Six GW a cappella groups were judged by several presidents of other schools' a cappella groups. Considering we're an anti-a cappella a cappella group, you can imagine how many awards we came away with. (0)

Best.Show.Ever. -- March 6, 2004
Our "big show" -- the last big show this school year and the last big show for our senior members -- was probably the best story we've ever played. We sang new songs, made offensive jokes, received fresh new porno mags, screamed, and drank three kegs afterwards.

Cafe Gelman Success Story -- March 2, 2004
We returned to Cafe Gelman, where we had sucked it up last time, but this time we really rocked. We got to scream inside the Library, which probably doesn't happen often.

Hippodrome Show -- Feb. 26, 2004
We sang at some event in the Hippodrome, it was fun.

Alternative Spring Break Show -- Feb. 18, 2004
We sang at a fundraising event for an alternative spring break trip. Fairly lackluster performance.

CD Release Show -- Dec 8, 2003
Our free show for the release of our debut album I'm Sorry. The show rocked, the crowd was really cool, and the new female a cappella ground The Sirens were excellent. Thanks to anyone who bought the album, we hope you are rocking to it right now.

Cafe Gelman Disaster Scene -- Dec 2, 2003
We sang this event on campus, and it was literally the worst performance we've ever done. We fucked up every song and it was a totally embarrassing moment for all. Whoops.

Class Council Ball Afterparty -- Nov. 14, 2003
Sang some songs in the Hippodrome for a student event.

Big Fall Show -- Nov. 7, 2003
The Sons of Pitch (GW's newest all male group) joined us for a sold out show. We also showed our "studio video," which was good stuff.

1st Guerillacapella of the 2003-04 Year!
We sang on Kogan, and a super crazy crack head joined in all the "fun".

Spring Show Extravaganza! -- April 27, 2003
"We're still crying, but this time it's from our allergies." Last big show of the semester. New songs, new video, poems, good times.

East-Coast Tour -- Mar. 28, 2003 - Mar. 29, 2003
Our first ever tour was a success. Made stops at Temple, Princeton with Shere Khan, and NYU with the NHarmonics.

Anti-Valentine's Day Show -- Feb. 15, 2003
Sold out the room we reserved for the show. The Amalgamates were awesome and we had the biggest turnout yet for one of our shows. Cool.

Graham Colton -- Jan. 31, 2003
Opened for Graham Colton and Stepanian. We couldn't hear each other, but it still rocked.

Taking Back Sunday @ 9:30 Club - Dec. 12, 2002
By far, Emocapella's biggest performance in its short history. We were graciously invited by Taking Back Sunday to sing a couple songs in front of 1000+ people, on stage, right before their set. Totally awesome.

GW Vibes Show - Dec. 7, 2002
Opened for the GW Vibes at their final show of the semester.

Emocapella Solo Show - Nov. 23, 2002
Our first stand alone show. We sang the full 12 song set. We rocked out hard. We showed our first short film. It was a multimedia filled event with approximately 200 people in attendance. Incredible.

Guerillacapella in J St. - April 24, 2002
Guerillacapella is born! Originally a Jewish Student Association gig that they gave us the wrong time for. After they bailed on us, we took to J St. and performed for our fans and many apathetic J-street workers.

The GW Vibes Spring Concert - April 13, 2002
Opened for the Vibes again, sang many more songs this time.

A Capella for A Capella - April 4, 2002
Emocapella sings along with the Vibes and the BC Bostonians from Boston College.

GW Hillel Jewish Student Center - March 29, 2002
Small crowd performance during Shabat at the Jewish Student Center.

GW Foggy Bottom Ball - February 23, 2002
Rocking it for 500 people, including all the DC mayors in history.
