Guide to Specialists

The specialists listed in the Elliott School's Guide to Specialists include full-time, adjunct and part-time faculty members. Their areas of expertise cover a wide range of subjects and issues that are of international importance historically, economically, and politically, and include general and area-specific catagories.

This guide is intended as a resource for the media, government, organizations, policymakers, students and others who seek experts on a diverse range of topics.

Specialists are listed according to their field of expertise. Wherever possible we have attempted to be as specific as possible. For instance, Karl F. Inderfurth is listed under regional listings for South Asia and is described as a specialist on political issues for the region. Barbara Miller, on the other hand, can also be found under South Asia experts and is listed as an expert on cultural issues for the region.

HOW TO USE THE GUIDE TO SPECIALISTS

There are three ways in which a researcher can use this Guide.

1. Keyword search
   
   Enter the topic, field of interest or faculty name in this box and click on the search button. A list of specialists that are related to the keyword topic will appear or a direct link to the faculty member's bio will appear.

2. Menu or topic search: Key topics are listed on the main menu with a link to the particular page where the specialists for that topic are listed.

3. Scrolling the document: The entire document can be scrolled to get a comprehensive view of the topics covered by Elliott School faculty experts.

Most of the faculty specialists listed have a biopage or blurb with their contact details.
