LANGUAGE PLACEMENT EXAMS

Arabic: For placement into a section of Arabic, please take the on-line Arabic Placement Exam by contacting the Language center at language@gwu.edu. Or you can stop by The Language Center in Phillips Hall 216 and ask there.

If you have studied abroad and would like to get credit for those courses in the Arabic program at GWU, please contact the Arabic Program Director, Prof. Esseesy at esseesym@gwu.edu.

Hebrew: For placement into a section of Hebrew, please take the on-line Arabic Placement Exam by contacting the Language center at language@gwu.edu. Or you can stop by The Language Center in Phillips Hall 216 and ask there.

Latin and Greek: To take the Latin Placement Exam, send an email to the Language Center (language@gwu.edu) with your GW valid email account; the Center will then register you and contact you to take the exam. There is no Greek placement exam on-line. Please contact Dr. Cline (ehcline@gwu.edu) to make arrangements.
