addition to opportunities to work on archaeological digs over the summer
with Dr. Cline, students in Classics have a variety College Year in Athens: Study ancient Greek and Mediterranean civilizations in Athens. And excellent program with year long or semester length programs available. American University at Rome: Offers students the opportunity to study Classics or most other subjects in the city of Rome. Both year and semester-long programs are available. Intercollegiate Center for Classical Studies in Rome (ICCS): Semester-long program run through Duke University for students majoring in Classics, Classical History or Archaeology only. Students are also expected to have taken both Greek and Latin. Spots are competitive. Arcadia University Programs:
Institute for Education of International Students (Rome) For advanced Classics Majors, there are also opportunities to study at the American School of Classical Studies in Athens: Students who attend are expected to have taken ancient Greek for at least one but preferably 2-3 years. Spots are competitive.
